Oops!

I’m running and running as fast as I can. “How am I going to get away”? I think to myself as I fear for my life. I can hear my feet pounding on the road, it is late and there are not many cars, not many on this road anyway. I can see a glimpse of it when it goes under the streetlamp. It looks big, yellow and it’s fast. I scream “Help!” at the top of my lungs. only a few people come outside to see. Then it pounces on me. “Oops,” I say “it's just the neighbor's dog.”
