What problem are we solving?
The problem that we need to know is; How do astronauts keep healthy in space?
What science do we need to know?
We need to know how astronauts keep fit in space, what times do they eat, when do they go to bed, how they have showers/brush their teeth/brush their hair, e.t.c
“Hello, this is Kelly on the news and we have some breaking news that will leave you speechless. Explorers have found a species that we believe is what we would call… an alien? Did I read that right? Um, yes it definitely says an alien. Um, ok, well, over to you Alex.”
“Yes I am with the explorers now and they are back from their dangerous expedition to find this strange creature. They said that they are going to study it, and see what it can do. This is Paul, the leader of the group, he will tell us about this creature that randomly turned up…”
“Yes hello. We have had a few reports out here from campers and trampers saying that they have heard strange noises in the middle of the night. So we came here to investigate… and we found that little guy.” says Paul as he pointed to the massive box that was being loaded onto a truck. “We can’t show you the creature now but maybe when we have studied it a bit more.”.
The box was wiggling and squirming. The creature wanted to come out, whatever it was. “Be careful with that box!” Yelled Paul. “Be careful! We can’t have it loose, it will destroy the town and cause chaos!”. “Sorry about that. As I was saying we believe it has crash landed on earth. We are trying to find its spaceship but so far we have had no luck. We will continue the search in the morning.” Thank you paul.” Alex said nervously. I hope you find out what this thing really is…”
The next night on the news:
“Welcome back, I will end the show with some really good news. We are happy to say that our country's football team has won the games for us! Everyone is so happy and celebrating so much that they are having massive hangovers the next morning. Some are partying way into the night. Even us, the news, have balloons all over the studio. Oh we have some breaking news about the alien that we reported last night has now escaped, and gone into the night. Over to you Alex.”. “Yes, the alien I reported about last night has indeed escaped from its cage. We obviously underestimated this creature and what it can do. The truck it was on was heading to the lab just as normal. But when they went to take it out to do tests on, it was gone! And if you watched the news last night, Paul said that if it was loose it could destroy the whole town (and other towns) and cause complete chaos! I am zzz oh,zzz glitczzz ingzz out zz.”. “It looks like we are having some technical problems.” Said Kelly. “Well whatever that creature is, it is loose and it will destroy everything in its path. And that this is Kelly, on the news. Have a sleepless night everyone!”
That night:
A little boy was asleep in his bed, in his room, on the first floor of his house. He was dreaming about what he was going to have for breakfast the next morning, pancakes, his favourite, when suddenly… plonk, plonk, plonk. Someone was throwing stones at the window. The little boy woke up, and looked down at the creature that was on the ground throwing stones at the window. The boy opened the window, and pulled up the ‘thing’. “Do you want some food?” asked the boy. The weird ‘thing’ said something that the boy didn’t understand. The alien got some bread. The boy looked at the creature, he hadn’t taken any notice. The creature had pale skin, two arms and legs, and only two eyes. What was this creature…?
There is no sound.
E.G. What is 2/3 of 15
First you divide 3 and 15: 3 divided by 15 = 5
Then you divide 5 by the 2 (the one on top), to get 10
And the answer is 10!
For the space research my buddies are Brooke and Freya.
I am interested in going to space. When I am older I would love to go to space.

During lockdown my family and I all went to the beach for a walk to see the leopard seal that we had been told about. My sisters, Teri and Ashleigh, were excited to see the seal to see what it would do (the seal didn't do much, apart from rolling over). Previous people who had visited the seal had put tall and short sticks 3 meters around the leopard seal, so that people wouldn't go too close. The seal looked a bit sick, so my sister asked the seal if he was alright. He didn't answer. A day after we saw him he left for Sumner beach (so others could admire him of course).
