Micro:Bit controllers...

Elizabeth has been teaching us about micro:bits. A micro:bit is a little pocket sized computer. They communicate through a computer. To move information from the computer to the micro:bit you have to download and drag. That was the hardest part. I learnt lots of things like how to make a flashing heart on the computer and transporting it to the micro:bit. Some other things that we made were a smiley face, sad face, shapes and we even managed to make our name! We could do all this because the micro:bit has 25 small LED lights on the top of the micro:bit. Micro:bits are fun to play with and there are many things that you can do. You could spend hours with it and would still have more things that you can do!

  1. Kia ora Charlotte, well done for putting together some video footage for your blog. There's definitely lots of things you can do with a Micro:Bit.
You could try and see if you can programme it to play Paper, scissors, rock? Elizabeth K

    1. Hi Elizabeth, you probably could use it for a game of paper, scissors rock. That would be fun to try and make it happen! I love that you can do lots and lots of things with the micro:bit and it would be fun playing the game!
